Product specification

The iiyama T1932MSC-B2S is a 19-inch touch monitor. Its 1,280 × 1,024 resolution defines the native canvas across the 19-inch screen. The 1 × HDMI inputs make it easier to plan how the required local sources will connect.

Buying checks

  • Protection rating: The IP54 protection rating applies to the front of the display.
  • Orientation and stand tilt: Normal landscape rotation only; portrait and inverted landscape are prohibited. The separate stand tilt permits 90° upwards to 5° downwards, including the face-up endpoint on its stand. This is not permission to lay the cabinet on its back or obstruct its vents. Hold the panel securely, avoid touching the LCD and keep fingers clear of the moving stand.
  • Mounting and enclosure cooling: The wall, ceiling or desktop arm must support the display and mount. The manual specifies four M4 × 14 mm total-length screws, assuming approximately 2.5 mm bracket thickness; this is not a 14 mm chassis-insertion instruction. Tighten securely. Longer screws can contact electrical parts, causing damage or electric shock. An external cabinet requires cooling fans and vents within the operating-temperature limits.
  • Touch connection and startup: Connect USB for touch as well as a separate video signal cable; audio requires the audio connection when used. Switch the computer and display off before connecting, connect power to the monitor before the supply, then turn on the monitor before the computer. Incorrect signal connections can damage both devices. Use protective earth and a nearby accessible socket; the manual specifies a 120/240 V, 20 A maximum building circuit breaker. Do not touch the screen while the computer starts because the touch driver may fail to start. BIOS power-saving settings can also prevent the driver running; the manual advises disabling that setting if affected.
  • Included kit and touch tools: Included are power, HDMI, DisplayPort, USB and audio cables, stand neck and base with their screws, one M3 × 6 mm cable-cover screw, screwdriver and guides. The VGA cable is not included; poor-quality VGA cables can cause electromagnetic interference. Use the supplied approved power cable, at least H05VVF, 3G, 0.75 mm²; cable-caused problems from a non-supplied power cable invalidate its guarantees and warranties. Use a finger or plastic stylus with a tip radius of at least 0.8 mm. Sharp, pointed or metal objects can permanently damage touch and invalidate remaining warranty.
  • Touch operating-system limits: The detailed matrix supports mouse, digitizer and gestures on Windows 8/8.1/10 and Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise and Ultimate. Windows 7 Starter/Home Basic and Vista support mouse and digitizer, not gestures; XP supports mouse only. Windows 2000, CE, XP Embedded, Mac OS X and Linux are mouse-only in that matrix. Listed versions include Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1/10 32/64-bit, CE 2.13/3.0/net 6.0, Mac OS X 10.4/10.5/10.6 and above, and Linux kernel 2.4/2.6x and above, not earlier versions. A separate feature note permits basic Windows 8/8.1/10/11 touch but explicitly does not guarantee full touch functionality or normal performance. It does not extend the detailed gesture matrix to Windows 11. The 10-point hardware capability and display Plug & Play are not guarantees for every host or mode.
  • Dual-monitor touch limit: Set up the primary touch monitor first in Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Tablet PC Settings > Display > Setup, then connect and set up the second. The manual permits touch on only one monitor at a time, not simultaneous touch on both displays.
  • Cleaning and disinfection cautions: Switch off and unplug before cleaning. Regular cabinet care is a soft, dry, clean cloth, or very dilute mild detergent on a tightly wrung cloth followed immediately by drying. The separate touchscreen row mentions mild window-glass cleaner or a 50/50 water/IPA mixture, but the same page warns against alcohol or disinfectant sprays and wipes, surface damage and frequent alcohol disinfection. Do not treat that row as blanket approval for alcohol disinfection or for cleaning the cabinet, connectors or accessories; follow the complete manual cautions and seek manufacturer advice if uncertain. Avoid strong solvents, abrasives and hard rubbing; immediately dry water drops and do not leave the panel wet. If liquid enters, unplug and contact the dealer or service centre.
  • Ventilation and usage: Keep at least 10 cm clearance from walls and do not cover ventilation slots. Removing the stand can block rear vents; operating on the cabinet back, side, upside down or on soft material may cause damage. Face-up stand tilt does not waive these precautions. Avoid direct sunlight and humid, dusty, smoky or rapidly changing environments. The manual states that the product is not specifically designed for 24/7 usage in all environments; do not assume an unrestricted continuous-use rating.
  • Exact-variant performance and environment: For T1932MSC-B2S, typical brightness through touch is 225 cd/m², versus 250 cd/m² bare panel and 175 cd/m² default energy-saving brightness. The AG variants have a different 215 cd/m² figure. The exact 19-inch IPS model supports 1280 × 1024 at up to 75 Hz; IP54 covers the front face only, not the whole enclosure or outdoor suitability. The 5.4 kg figure is net weight, not shipping weight; typical 20 W power excludes connected USB devices. Operate at 0–40°C and 20–80% humidity, non-condensing. The −20–60°C and 10–90% humidity figures are storage limits.
