Retail and visitor spaces

Retail digital signage and shop displays

Show promotions, product information and directions with digital signage for shops, showrooms and visitor spaces. A shop-window screen faces different light and heat conditions from a display inside the store. Start with the position and content plan, then compare brightness, orientation and operating hours.

Outdoor entrances

For weather-exposed entrances, compare outdoor displays for daylight visibility, temperature limits and weather protection. An indoor shop-window position needs a separate check against its light and heat conditions.

Content and distribution

Digital signage for visitor journeys and changing information

Plan how content will be created, scheduled and delivered to each screen, then compare the display specification for its position and operating environment.

Choosing retail and shop-window screens

What screen do I need for a shop window?

Start with daylight visibility and the temperature at the proposed position, particularly behind glass. Compare the exact model’s brightness and permitted operating environment. An ordinary indoor signage screen is not automatically suitable for a sun-facing window; a weather-exposed position also needs the appropriate outdoor protection.

Can one system update several shop displays?

Compatible signage software can manage content across multiple screens, but support depends on the display, player and platform combination. Confirm how updates will reach each location, whether different stores need different content, and which licences or subscriptions are required. Those services are not automatically included with the hardware.

Should I choose portrait or landscape digital signage?

Choose the format around the content and available space: a vertical directory and a wide promotional video have different layouts. Check that the exact display supports the chosen mounting orientation and that the playback source can deliver content in that format. Rotation of the screen does not establish player support.
