Buying checks

• Touch compatibility: Multi-touch requires a supported operating system. Check the intended host operating system and touch connection before ordering.
• Permitted mounting positions: Landscape, either illustrated portrait rotation and face-up are permitted; inverted landscape is prohibited. Physical mounting does not rotate content automatically: the manual requires a suitable video card for portrait images.
• Mounting and enclosure cooling: Use a wall or built-in case strong enough for the display and mount. Use four M4 × 10 mm total-length screws, assuming approximately 2.5 mm mounting-bracket thickness; this is not a 10 mm chassis-insertion instruction. Tighten securely; longer screws can contact electrical parts, causing damage or electric shock. An external cabinet needs cooling fans and vents to remain within the operating-temperature limits.
• Touch host and gesture limits: The manual marks digitizer and gestures supported on Windows 7/8/8.1/10/11, but not its separate mouse-mode row. Vista supports digitizer only; XP supports mouse only. Linux mouse support depends on the OS version, with digitizer and gestures unsupported. Mac OS/OS X and Android are unsupported in all three rows; unlisted versions are unsupported. Gestures require suitable application support. The 10-point hardware figure is not a guarantee for every host or mode.
• Touch and USB connections: Connect USB upstream as well as HDMI or DisplayPort video to the external computer. The USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub has one Type-B upstream and two Type-A downstream ports, rated 5 Gbps, DC 5 V/900 mA; it does not include a computer. Switch the host and display off before connecting. Do not touch the panel during power-on because touch may malfunction. Use protective earth and a nearby accessible socket; the manual specifies a 120/240 V, 20 A maximum building circuit breaker. Excessive headphone volume can damage hearing.
• Included cables: The package lists power, HDMI and USB cables, a cable cover, Safety Guide and Quick Start Guide. The illustrated DisplayPort cable is not included. Use the supplied approved power cable; the manual specifies at least H05VVF, 3G, 0.75 mm² and warns that problems or damage caused by a non-supplied power cable invalidate its guarantees and warranties.
• Brightness and response conditions: Typical brightness through the touch panel is 525 cd/m², not the separate 600 cd/m² panel rating or 250 cd/m² default energy-saving setting. The exact B2 specification supports 1920 × 1080 at up to 120 Hz. Its 5 ms grey-to-grey figure requires Overdrive 5; the separately listed typical response is 14 ms.
• Environment, power and net weight: Operate at 5–35°C and 10–80% humidity, non-condensing. The −20–60°C and 10–90% humidity figures are storage limits. The 6.5 kg figure is net display weight, not packaged shipping weight; typical 22 W power excludes connected USB devices.
• Protection rating: The manufacturer manual specifies IPX1 protection for the front face only, not the whole enclosure. This does not establish dust protection, outdoor suitability or protection against water jets or immersion.
