• Operating conditions: Landscape and portrait are rated 24/7. Operate at 0–40 °C, 20–80% RH without condensation and up to 3,000 m. Storage limits are −20–60 °C and 5–95% RH without condensation; the 50,000-hour MTBF is not a warranty duration.
• Size, depth and mounting: The 98-inch class has a 97.5-inch measured diagonal. The set is 2193.4 × 1255.3 mm (width × height), with 90 mm wall-mount depth or 94.1 mm handle depth, and weighs 65.64 kg. Its wall mount is 1000 mm horizontal × 400 mm vertical with M8 fixings; check the mount and handling arrangements against these figures.
• USB connections: The leaflet distinguishes two USB 3.0 ports, one Micro USB OTG connection and a USB-C video input specified at 4.5 W. Do not assume laptop charging at 65 W or treat every USB connection as the same kind of port.
• Video input and output: There are two HDMI 2.0 inputs and one DisplayPort 1.4 input. The separately listed HDMI 2.0 output is not a third HDMI input.
• Wireless hardware: The included-accessories list names the CRD32 Wi-Fi/Bluetooth module; Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 operate via CRD32. The 4G module is optional: antenna connectors and an mPCIe slot do not establish an included cellular modem or service.
• Dust protection: The leaflet specifies IP5X dust protection. This does not establish a water-protection rating or permission for exposed outdoor installation.
• Electrical figures: The leaflet lists EEI lot5 consumption of 127 W, standby below 0.5 W and a 100–240 V AC, 50–60 Hz supply. These specified figures are distinct from the environmental report’s modelled use-phase assumptions.
• Cloud management: Wave-ready describes remote-management support, not proof that a particular subscription or service plan is included. The browser/cloud setup needs an Internet connection; the leaflet describes connecting by RJ45.
• Carbon footprint estimates: The manufacturer’s January 2026 report estimates 3555.44 kg CO₂e for a three-year scenario and 3815.25 kg CO₂e for five years, with ±18.33% uncertainty. Actual results may differ. The modelled lifetimes are calculation scenarios, not a warranty or guaranteed service life; the figures do not certify carbon neutrality.
• Carbon report energy assumptions: The carbon calculation assumes 197 W power-on and 0.5 W standby, eight hours in each state, 395 kWh a year and 250 usage days a year. Use-phase energy follows the US EPA Energy Star TEC method with average emissions factors for the designated use location. These are modelled inputs, not a replacement for the technical leaflet’s 127 W EEI lot5 figure or a promise of actual consumption.
• Carbon report lifecycle scope: The report models a 98-inch 98BDL5050D with 85.69 kg including packaging, assembly in China and global use. The transport table assigns all transport to the country of use to ship, zero to air/rail/truck and zero to every in-country transport mode. End-of-life assumptions are 80% recycling, based on the company’s calculated WEEE recycling rate, and 20% incineration. The packaged-weight scenario is not the display’s 65.64 kg set weight. Its cradle-to-grave estimate uses PAS 2050:2011 and ISO 14067:2018, SimaPro 10.2 and IPCC 2021 GWP 100a; the lifecycle diagram’s individual elements shown as 0% are below 0.1%.
