Buying checks

• Touch with an external computer: 10-point touch applies to the built-in operating system. An external operating system supports single touch only.
• Mounting and orientation: Use a wall or desktop arm strong enough for the panel PC and mount. The manual specifies four M4 × 6 mm screws in total with an approximately 2.5 mm bracket; this is not 6 mm insertion depth. Landscape, either portrait direction and face-up are illustrated, not inverted use. The camera annotation applies only to TW1023ASC, not this model. A cabinet needs cooling fans and vents to stay within the operating temperature.
• Continuous use and static images: 24-hour use has a limited lifetime. The typical 30,000-hour LED-backlight figure applies at 50% maximum brightness. Avoid prolonged static images, use moving screen savers, vary backgrounds, reduce brightness and turn off when unused. Hot or enclosed installations need active ventilation.
• Touch use and cleaning: Use a finger or conductive stylus with tip radius at least 0.8 mm. Sharp, pointed or metal items can permanently damage the surface and invalidate remaining warranty. Use a soft cloth and mild commercial window-glass cleaner or a 50:50 water/IPA mixture on the touch surface. Do not use acid/alkaline solvents, thinner, benzine, abrasives, spray cleaners or wax. Unplug and seek service if liquid or material enters the unit.
• Power and safe installation: Use the supplied iiyama 60 W, 12 V/5 A adaptor and appropriate EU/UK power cable, not the smaller models’ 24 W adaptor or interchangeable plug accessories. The guide requires an approved power cable at least H05VVF, 3G, 0.75 mm². Connect the adaptor to the panel before mains power, use an accessible socket and observe the protective-earth/site electrical requirements. Do not open the cabinet or adaptor; stop use and unplug for smoke, unusual sounds, fumes or ingress. Protect cables and disconnect before moving; the battery is not user-replaceable.
• USB, mirroring and external touch: Three general-purpose USB host ports comprise one USB 3.2 Gen 1 at 5 Gbps/5 V/900 mA and two USB 2.0 at 5 V/500 mA. USB-C is video output in mirroring mode, not a laptop-video input or a promised laptop-charging port; the guide limits its touch mode to Windows 10 and 11. The connected computer can access panel storage. The existing 10-point figure applies to the integrated OS; external OS touch remains single touch only.
• Included accessories and setup: The package includes the 60 W adaptor, EU/UK power cable, cable cover, two cover screws, five M4 VESA screws and guides. LAN, HDMI and USB-C leads and the SD card are not included. The illustrated mouse, keyboard, hub, laptop and external monitor are not supplied accessories. Route cables through the cover and secure it; use a soft cloth when laying the panel face-down. Initial Android setup takes approximately 5–10 minutes. Excessive headphone volume can damage hearing.
• Environment, net weight and power scope: Operate at 0–40 °C and 10–80% non-condensing humidity; storage is −20–60 °C and 10–90%. The 3.64 kg net weight excludes the AC adaptor, not a shipping weight. The 15.4 W typical consumption excludes connected USB devices. PoE is IEEE 802.3bt/60 W, not the smaller models’ 30 W rating; no injector is promised as included. Keep away from water, dust, smoke, excessive heat and sudden temperature changes, and use stable support.
• Finished touch brightness: The exact manual distinguishes 450 cd/m² through the touch panel from 500 cd/m² bare-panel brightness. Do not compare the bare-panel figure as finished-assembly brightness.
• Confirm HDMI direction before specifying: The model’s connector and specification pages label HDMI as input, but its own connection diagram shows a monitor on that connection. HDMI direction and the intended connection need manufacturer confirmation before relying on either interpretation. The manual also says no HDMI CEC, wake-on-active-source or no-signal standby, returns to Android Home on signal loss and cannot make HDMI the default after reboot. These limitations do not resolve the direction discrepancy.
