Buying checks

• Touch with an external computer: 10-point touch applies to the built-in operating system. An external operating system supports single touch only.
• Permitted mounting positions: The manual permits landscape, either portrait rotation and face-up mounting. Inverted landscape is marked not available. These are physical mounting positions, not a claim about media-player rotation.
• Mounting and cooling: Use a wall or desktop arm strong enough for the panel PC and mount. The manual specifies four M4 × 6 mm screws assuming a mounting bracket about 2.5 mm thick; allow for the actual bracket thickness. Longer screws can contact internal electrical parts and cause damage or electric shock. Enclosures need cooling fans and vents to stay within the operating temperature range.
• USB-C direction and touch hosts: USB-C provides mirror-mode video output and touch-board operation, not video input. The manual limits USB-C touch mode to Windows 10 and 11; this does not extend the separate integrated-OS 10-point touch claim to external operating systems. A computer connected by USB-C can access the panel PC’s internal or external storage. The two separate peripheral USB ports are USB 3.2 Gen 1 at 5 V/900 mA and USB 2.0 at 5 V/500 mA. No laptop-charging power-delivery capability is established.
• Power and brightness scope: Brightness is 450 cd/m² through the touch panel; the separate 500 cd/m² figure is the panel rating. The 17.5 W typical power figure excludes connected USB devices, and the supplied AC adaptor is rated 12 V/5 A, 60 W. PoE is specified as IEEE 802.3bt/72 W; confirm the intended network power source. Use the supplied iiyama power cable: the manual excludes cable-caused problems from its guarantees and warranties.
• HDMI and restart behaviour: The single HDMI input supports 1920 × 1080 at 60 Hz but not wake on active source, no-signal standby or CEC. Loss of HDMI signal returns to the Android Home screen. HDMI cannot be the default input after restart: the device starts Android Home or its selected default app. Check this behaviour for an unattended external-player installation.
• Continuous use and static images: The manual permits 24-hour use with limited lifetime and gives a typical 30,000-hour LED-backlight lifetime at 50% of maximum brightness, not a guaranteed product lifetime. Avoid prolonged static images, use changing content or a screensaver, lower brightness and switch off when not needed. High-temperature or enclosed installations need active ventilation or cooling fans.
• Touch tools and cleaning: Use a finger or conductive stylus with a tip radius of at least 0.8 mm. Sharp, pointed or metal tools can permanently damage touch and invalidate remaining warranty. Do not scratch the surface; clean with a soft cloth and mild glass cleaner or a 50/50 water/IPA mixture. Do not use acid, alkaline or abrasive cleaners, and keep liquids out of the panel PC.
• Dimensions, net weight and environment: The datasheet lists 550 × 336 × 28 mm; the manual gives the more precise width of 549.5 mm. Use the dimensional drawing for a close-fitting installation rather than treating these published precisions as an installation tolerance. The 4.24 kg net weight excludes the AC adaptor and is not shipping weight. Operate at 0–40°C and 10–80% humidity, non-condensing; −20–60°C and 10–90% humidity are storage limits, not operating limits.
