Buying checks

• Touch with an external computer: 10-point touch applies to the built-in operating system. An external operating system supports single touch only.
• Mounting and orientation: Use a wall or desktop arm strong enough for the panel PC and mount. The guide specifies four M4 × 6 mm screws in total with an approximately 2.5 mm bracket; this is not 6 mm insertion depth. Landscape, either portrait direction and face-up are illustrated, not inverted use. The camera reference applies only to TW1023ASC. In a cabinet provide cooling fans and vents to stay within the stated operating temperature.
• Continuous operation and static content: 24-hour operation has a limited lifetime. The typical 30,000-hour LED-backlight figure applies at 50% maximum brightness. Avoid prolonged static images, use moving screen savers, vary backgrounds, lower brightness and switch off when unused; enclosed or hot installations require active ventilation.
• Touch use and cleaning: Use a finger or conductive stylus with tip radius at least 0.8 mm. Sharp, pointed or metal objects can permanently damage the touch surface and invalidate remaining warranty. Clean with a soft cloth and mild commercial glass cleaner or a 50:50 water/IPA mixture; do not use acid/alkaline solvents, abrasives, thinner, benzine or spray-type cleaners.
• Power and safe use: Use the supplied 24 W, 12 V/2 A iiyama adaptor and the appropriate included EU/UK interchangeable plug. Connect the adaptor to the panel before mains power, provide an accessible socket and follow the guide’s protective-earth/site electrical requirements. Do not open the cabinet or adaptor. Stop use and unplug for smoke, unusual sounds, fumes or liquid ingress; disconnect cables before moving and protect them from damage.
• USB and external touch: The three general-purpose USB host ports comprise one USB 3.2 Gen 1 port at 5 Gbps/5 V/900 mA and two USB 2.0 ports at 5 V/500 mA. The separately labelled USB slave connector is for maintenance personnel, not an additional general-purpose USB host port. The existing 10-point figure applies to the integrated OS; external OS touch is single touch only and this is not a named-host compatibility guarantee.
• Package and connections: The panel includes its adaptor, EU/UK plug options, cable cover, two cover screws, five M4 VESA screws and guides. LAN/HDMI leads, memory card and USB flash drive are not included; keyboard, mouse, hub and external monitor are illustrative, not supplied. Secure cable routing through the cover; place a soft cloth underneath when laying the screen face-down for assembly. Initial Android setup takes approximately 5–10 minutes. Excessive headphone volume can damage hearing.
• Environment, net weight and power scope: Operate at 0–40 °C and 10–80% non-condensing humidity; storage is −10–60 °C and 10–90%. The 1.5 kg net weight excludes the adaptor; 9 W typical consumption excludes USB peripherals. PoE is IEEE 802.3at, maximum 30 W; no PoE injector is promised as included. Keep away from water, dust, smoke, excessive heat and sudden temperature changes; use a stable support.
• Confirm disputed performance figures: The manual lists 387 cd/m² through touch while the exact UK sheet lists 385 cd/m²; 450 cd/m² is bare-panel brightness, not the finished touch assembly. It also gives >30 ms grey-to-grey response versus 30 ms on the sheet. The Mini HDMI connection is an output to an external monitor, not a video input. The sheet’s audio-output label and manual headset-microphone description do not establish an additional generic line input. Confirm the disputed values/functions before relying on them; do not infer a tolerance or silently drop the greater-than sign.
