Product specification
The NEC 60006061 is a 65-inch commercial display designed for continuous 24/7 operation. The 4K UHD resolution sets the level of picture detail, while the stated 700 cd/m² output can be assessed against the ambient light at the installation. Its published dimensions are 1,454.5 × 832.4 × 59.5 mm (W × H × D), giving installers a firm basis for space and fixing checks.
Product capabilities
- Remote management: NaViSet Administrator 2.
Buying checks
- Face-up and face-down installations: Landscape, portrait, face-up and face-down are listed physical positions. Face-up/down installations require adjusted usage conditions: follow Sharp operational guidelines or obtain manufacturer support confirmation before specifying these positions. Physical mounting does not establish player video rotation.
- HDMI output routing: The single HDMI output is separate from the two HDMI inputs. Its stated loop-through sources are HDMI IN 2, the option slot and compute module; do not assume HDMI IN 1 is routed to that output.
- Optional computing and accessories: Intel SDM Large/Small modules up to 66 W and Raspberry Pi MPi4/MPi5 kits are supported slot-in options, not confirmed included computers. The Eco Sensor, feet, soundbar, speakers, trolley, wall mounts and listed USB-C cables are options; confirm the purchased configuration and any required software or licences separately. Optional warranty extensions have separate terms.
- Operating versus storage limits: The 24/7 rating is subject to 0–40°C and 20–80% operating humidity. The −20–60°C and 10–80% figures are storage limits, not a wider operating range; face-up/down usage conditions still apply.
- USB roles, power and loop-through: USB-C 1 lists video/audio, USB 2.0/3.2 and 65 W; USB-C 2 lists peripherals/storage and 7.5 W. USB-A 1 lists peripherals/storage at 4.5 W; the separate USB-A Service port is 2.5 W for service. The DP output row names USB-C 2 as a loop-through source although that USB-C row does not explicitly list video input: confirm the intended route rather than inferring USB-C 2 video capability, identical power or a built-in media player.
- Front and back protection: The front is rated IP5x and the back IP2x. The unspecified water-protection digit is not a water-resistance or outdoor-installation rating.
- Fixings and supplied equipment: The VESA pattern is 400 × 400 mm (FDMI), with four M6 holes. The listed shipment contains the display, remote control, two AAA batteries, HDMI and power cables and setup manual; do not treat optional feet or a wall mount as included. Check the complete mounting instructions before installation.
- USB-C power with an option board: USB-C1 lists a maximum 65 W power-delivery profile (20 V/3.25 A), but is limited to 15 W (5 V/3 A) when an Option Board is connected. For the 65 W profile use a USB cable supporting 3.25 A and a device supporting power delivery. Compatibility is not guaranteed for every device. This does not establish equivalent power or signal routing for USB-C2.
- HDMI output in multi-picture mode: HDMI output is disabled in PiP or PbP multi-picture mode. Listed output sources are HDMI2, an option board or Raspberry Pi compute module; the manual recommends using the same monitor model. This does not resolve the separate DisplayPort USB-C1/USB-C2 source discrepancy.
- P656 mounting fixings: For P656, use the model-specific 400 x 400 mm mounting pattern with four M6 fixings. The diagram gives insertion B of 10–12 mm, no-thread allowance D of 2 mm and bracket-hole C maximum diameter 8.5 mm; allow for bracket and washer thickness when selecting total screw length. Recommended fastening torque is 390–670 Ncm. Use a qualified installer and a wall/structure supporting at least four times the monitor weight; do not use an impact driver and check security after installation. The manual’s UL1678 recommendation is for North America, not an unqualified UK requirement. Do not transplant the smaller-model 4 mm allowance or confuse this torque with option-board screws.
- Optional tabletop stand: The P656 tabletop stand is the optional ST-65M. Use it in landscape only with the long ends of its feet facing forward and follow its included instructions/accessories. The ST-43M and smaller-model height settings are not the P656 stand recipe. This is not approval for portrait, face-up or face-down operation with that stand.
- Optional board installation: Compatible Intel SDM-S/SDM-L boards are purchased separately unless included in a special bundle. Remove the centre rail for SDM-L only. Insert the board in the correct orientation without excessive force, use the original screws and secure it at the guide’s recommended 50–80 Ncm. Cover unused slots with the supplied covers, fully painted side facing out. No computer, operating system, software licence or exact module configuration is implied to be included; this torque is not the wall-mount fixing torque.
- Safe service positioning: A trained installer should read the monitor manual before fitting an option board. Turn off the main power and disconnect power and signal cables. For temporary service positioning, use a flat, even, sturdy surface larger than the screen with a larger soft protective cloth. Face-down positioning in the installation guide is a temporary installation procedure, not approval for face-down operation. Keep the unresolved operational-orientation restrictions in place.
