Buying checks

• Touch compatibility: Multi-touch requires a supported operating system. Check the intended host operating system and touch connection before ordering.
• Desktop orientation and tilt: Use normal landscape rotation only, with the power indicator on the illustrated bottom edge; portrait and inverted landscape are prohibited. The separate desktop tilt range is 90° upwards to 5° downwards, including the face-up endpoint. This does not permit digital-signage wall or ceiling installations or automatic content rotation.
• Desktop mounting limits: Designed for desktop use, not digital-signage ceiling-hanging or wall-mounting applications. The display arm or desk arm must support the display and mount. Use four M4 × 11 mm total-length screws, considering the bracket thickness; the stated estimated minimum bracket thickness is 2.3 mm, not a screw-insertion depth. Longer screws risk damage or electric shock. Tighten securely and check regularly. More than 5° downward tilt can cause the LCD to separate and fall and is not covered by support or warranty.
• Touch operating systems: The manual supports mouse, digitizer and gestures on Windows 8/8.1/10/11. Gestures depend on application support. Its Mac OS/OS X and Linux/Android rows mark all three functions unsupported, and unlisted OS versions are unsupported. The 10-point hardware capability is not proof of touch support on an unlisted host; generic display Plug & Play does not establish touch compatibility.
• Touch and peripheral connections: Connect the separate USB upstream cable as well as the HDMI or DisplayPort video cable to the computer. The USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub is rated 5 Gbps, DC 5 V/900 mA, with one Type-B upstream and two Type-A downstream ports. This is an external-host connection, not an included computer. Switch the host and monitor off before connecting and use appropriate signal cables: incorrect connections can damage both. Use protective earth and a nearby accessible socket; the manual specifies a 120/240 V, 20 A maximum building circuit breaker. Excessive headphone volume can damage hearing; operation of non-headphone devices on the headphone connector is not guaranteed.
• Included cables and stand: The package lists power, HDMI and USB cables, stand neck and base with their screws, a screwdriver, Safety Guide and Quick Start Guide. The illustrated DisplayPort cable is not included. Use the supplied approved power cable; the manual specifies at least H05VVF, 3G, 0.75 mm² and warns that problems or damage caused by a non-supplied power cable invalidate its guarantees and warranties.
• Response time and brightness settings: The 4 ms grey-to-grey response figure applies with OverDrive set to +2. Typical brightness is 300 cd/m²; the separately stated default energy-saving brightness is 175 cd/m². The exact manual lists Full HD 1920 × 1080 at up to 75 Hz over HDMI or DisplayPort.
• Environment, power and net weight: Operate at 5–35°C and 10–85% humidity, non-condensing. The −20–60°C and 10–90% humidity figures are storage limits, not operating limits. The 5.4 kg figure is net display weight, not packaged shipping weight. Typical 17 W power excludes connected USB devices.
