• Touch compatibility: Multi-touch requires a supported operating system. Check the intended host operating system and touch connection before ordering.
• USB-C charging: USB-C power delivery is limited to 15 W. Check your laptop power requirements before relying on it for charging.
• Mounting and permitted rotation: Use normal landscape with the power indicator on the bottom edge, or the illustrated portrait rotation with the indicator on the right edge. The opposite portrait rotation, inverted landscape and screen-facing-up/down installations are not allowed. Moving requires at least two people; use qualified service personnel and a wall strong enough for the display and mount. The guide specifies four M6 × 18 mm screws in total with an approximately 2.5 mm bracket, not 18 mm insertion depth. Check screw tightness regularly. The included wall-plate instructions use four ST7 × 55 mm screws and anchors; hang and secure the brackets, use the release straps for removal and organise cables. These instructions do not establish suitability for every wall or third-party mount.
• Continuous use and ventilation: 24/7 use depends on following the installation guidance in a clean, temperature-controlled environment. Avoid prolonged static images, loop changing content or screen savers, lower brightness and use off, standby or schedules when unused. For a residual image, turn off for as long as the previous static display lasted. Provide ventilation; active cooling is recommended for long use or high ambient temperature. References to FAN-on or panel-saving functions apply only where available and do not establish that this display contains a controllable fan.
• Confirm touch installation guidance: The manual’s general installation note describes an infrared touch kit, while this model’s own specification table identifies projected-capacitive touch. The applicability of its strong-light and sunlight precautions needs manufacturer clarification. Do not relabel this display as infrared or assume that the general warning can be discarded.
• USB-C functions and power: USB-C supports DisplayPort 1.2 Alt Mode video/audio/data and up to 15 W power delivery (5 V/3 A), not a full-power laptop supply. The connected device must support USB PD charging. If it needs more than 15 W to operate or start with a drained battery, use its original power adaptor. A separately purchased USB-C cable must be USB-IF certified and full-featured for video/audio/data/PD. USB-C to USB-A is data-only and that cable is not included. Compatibility with every device is not guaranteed.
• External touch host requirements: These are external-host touch capabilities, not the built-in Android version or a display Plug and Play guarantee. Windows 8/10/11 supports multi-touch over I2C/USB; Windows 7 supports USB multi-touch with the inbox driver. XP is USB single-touch and needs a driver. Listed Android 7.0–14/kernel 4.4–6.2 and Ubuntu 18.04–24.04/kernel 4.15–6.8 support USB/I2C multi-touch with the manufacturer driver. Fedora 22–38/kernel 4.0–6.2, Debian 9–11/kernel 4.19–5.10, RHEL 8–9.1/kernel 4.18–5.10 and SUSE 15-SP3–15-SP5/kernel 3.10–5.14 use x86 USB multi-touch with the driver. macOS 10.14–14 USB multi-touch also needs the manufacturer driver. Do not infer Windows 8.1 or support for newer, unlisted host versions.
• Included accessories and safe connection: The package lists two power cables, HDMI and RS-232C cables, remote with two batteries, two dual-head pens, wall mounting kit and guides. USB-C is not listed as included; USB-C to USB-A is explicitly not included. Use the supplied iiyama-approved power cable, at least H05VVF, 3G, 0.75 mm², and note that the manufacturer states that guarantees and warranties are void for problems or damage caused by a power cable not supplied by iiyama. Switch off host and display before connection, connect display power before mains, turn the monitor on before the host and complete setup. Touch becomes available about eight seconds after USB connection. Observe protective earth, an accessible socket and the stated building electrical requirements. Wrong signal cables may damage equipment. Excessive headphone volume may damage hearing; other devices are not guaranteed on the headphone connector.
• Operating environment: Operate at 0–40 °C and 20–80% non-condensing humidity; storage is −20–60 °C and 10–90%. These environmental limits do not remove the existing ventilation, permitted-rotation or continuous-use qualifications. Typical power figures exclude connected USB devices; do not infer charging capacity from the display’s operating consumption.
• Finished touch brightness: The exact manual distinguishes 420 cd/m² with the touch panel from 500 cd/m² without the touch panel and the default energy-saving value of 260 cd/m². Compare the finished touch assembly, not the bare-panel or default-mode figure.
