Buying checks

• Screen compatibility: Recommended for 32–65-inch screens up to 70 kg. Match the actual fixing pattern within the specified 200 × 100 to 600 × 400 mm range; the maximum envelope does not guarantee every smaller pattern.
• Rear connections and ventilation: The 30 mm wall distance is not a guarantee of clearance for rear connectors or ventilation. Check the screen manufacturer’s mounting and ventilation instructions before choosing this low-profile mount.
• Optional padlock: The mount has padlock tabs, but the padlock is not included. Fit the security fixings as instructed in the installation guide.
• Carton information: The datasheet’s 16.7 kg figure is for a master carton of four mounts, not an individual mount’s net or delivery weight.
• Qualified installation: Use a professional AV installer or another suitably qualified person. Read all instructions and warnings, never use missing or defective parts, and do not exceed the mount’s load limit. The manufacturer warns that improper installation or use can cause serious injury and invalidate its stated guarantees.
• Wall and installation location: Indoor use only. The installer must verify the wall’s load capacity and appropriate fixings, avoid hidden electrical cables and water or gas pipes, and secure parts against falling. In public areas, position the installation out of immediate reach.
• Screen fixings: The supplied fixing kit is not suitable for every wall. Choose screen screws and spacers for the actual screen, use spacers for recessed fixings, and follow the screen manufacturer’s mounting and ventilation guidance. Do not assume a universal screw depth or rear-port clearance.
• Cables and inspection: Keep cables tidy and secure with movement unobstructed, and avoid trapping hazards when assembling or adjusting the mount. Check all fixings immediately after installation and inspect the mount and fixing points at intervals no longer than six months.
• Securing the screen: Follow the guide’s appropriate concrete, brick or stud-wall method. Fit both arms in the same holes and the correct orientation, allow for two-person hook-on installation, and install the security screws beneath the arms. The padlock is an optional extra, not a substitute for the specified fixings.
• Using the technical drawing: The R00 drawing is dimensioned in millimetres and dated 17/05/2021. Check its applicability to the actual installation; B-Tech does not guarantee the data’s accuracy, currency or suitability. Use the installation guide and screen instructions, not the drawing alone, to plan a safe installation.
