• Android processing: Android processing requires the optional CRD50 module.
• Solar heating: Direct sunlight requires additional protection against solar heating, including UV-coated glass or a suitable external film checked with a glass specialist. Air conditioning alone is insufficient; a canopy is another option. Spotlights and reflected sunlight can create local hot spots, even while the display is off.
• Glass and ventilation clearance: For a shop window or enclosed kiosk, the manufacturer recommends at least 20 mm between the glass and display and at least 100 mm at the sides, top and bottom for airflow.
• Temperature and humidity: Keep ambient temperature within 0–40°C and relative humidity within 20–80%, non-condensing. Active ventilation or cooling is recommended; air conditioning is also recommended for enclosed kiosks. The LCD panel must never exceed 65°C at any point, even when switched off; about 25°C is recommended for best luminance performance.
• Overheating and warranty: The manufacturer warns that exceeding the maximum temperatures is not covered by warranty. Follow the installation guidance alongside the user manual; sunlight-readable brightness does not establish unprotected outdoor operation.
• Optional computer: Android processing requires the optional CRD50 OPS module. The OPS slot supports a separately added PC or CRD50 module; slot support does not establish an included computer.
• Backup input: FailOver requires a selected primary input and a configured backup connection; it does not establish uninterrupted content without a backup source.
• Operating environment: The technical leaflet specifies operation at 0–40°C, relative humidity of 20–80% and altitude up to 3,000 m. Its −20–60°C storage range is not an operating limit. Follow the separate sunlight guide’s non-condensing requirement.
• Sunlight protection: Do not operate in direct sunlight without additional protective measures. The technical leaflet directs sunlight-exposed installations to the user manual and warning leaflet.
• Brightness specification discrepancy: The manufacturer’s technical leaflet lists 3,000 cd/m² on its cover and specification table, but its extreme-conditions paragraph says up to 2,500 cd/m². These statements are inconsistent; confirm the applicable brightness with the manufacturer before specifying a brightness-critical installation.
