• Touch compatibility: Multi-touch requires a supported operating system. Check the intended host operating system and touch connection before ordering.
• Protection rating: The IP1X protection rating applies to the front of the display.
• Touch operating systems and drivers: The touch table marks mouse, digitizer and gesture support for Windows 7/8/8.1/10/11, Linux and Android; Linux/Android require kernel 2.6.38 or later. Mac OS X 10.6 or later needs the specified V6 touch-base driver and is single-touch only; the separate gesture driver supports the stated 2–4 finger Apple-defined gestures. Gestures depend on the application. Confirm Android touch with the device manufacturer (controller PID 2575, VID 0402). Chrome OS is separately supported with its auto-updating Linux kernel. Unlisted OS versions are not supported by this table; its XP/Vista note states Microsoft no longer supports them. Do not infer current macOS certification from this legacy wording.
• Permitted mounting positions: Landscape and either portrait rotation are shown as available; inverted landscape is prohibited. Face-up mounting is not established. Set portrait output on the connected device; physical mounting does not automatically rotate its content.
• Mounting and enclosure cooling: Use a wall, ceiling or desktop arm strong enough for the display and mount. The manual specifies four M4 × 10 mm screws assuming an approximately 2.5 mm VESA bracket; account for bracket thickness and secure every screw. This is total screw length, not 10 mm chassis insertion. Longer screws can contact electrical parts and cause electric shock or damage. Enclosed installations need cooling fans and vents to remain within the operating temperature range.
• Brightness measurement scope: Typical brightness through the touch panel is 425 cd/m². The 500 cd/m² bare-panel rating and 330 cd/m² default energy-saving setting are different scopes, not alternative typical finished-display brightness values. These figures refer to the exact B2 specification, not a different B2 B default-setting column.
• Environment, power and net weight: Operate at 5–35°C and 10–80% humidity, non-condensing. The −20–60°C and 10–90% humidity figures are storage limits. The 8.3 kg figure is net product weight, not packaged shipping weight; 25 W typical power excludes connected USB peripherals and audio equipment. IPX1 applies only to the front face, not the whole enclosure.
• Response-time setting: The manual lists 14 ms typical response and 5 ms grey-to-grey only with Overdrive set to +2; the faster figure is not an unconditional response-time rating.
